About this product
Bacterial contamination can present challenges in many filtration processes. In addition to potential health risks, bacteria can contribute to process disruptions, biofouling, and microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). Within filtration systems, bacterial growth can lead to the formation of biofilm on the filter media, resulting in premature blockage and reduced service life.
Our antimicrobial filter cartridges incorporate silver-ion technology, which inhibits the growth of bacteria captured by the filter media. By preventing bacterial proliferation on both the filter surface and within the cartridge core, the formation of biofilm is significantly reduced, helping to maintain filtration performance and extend filter service life.
The filter media used in these cartridges is manufactured from FDA-compliant materials, making them suitable for applications where material compliance is required.
