Suitable for a wide range of liquids

Bag filter housings are suitable for a wide variety of liquids, including water, process fluids, chemicals, oils, fuels, and food or pharmaceutical products. Selecting the appropriate housing material and seal configuration ensures optimum chemical compatibility, reliable operation, and a long service life.

Materials, Pressure ratings, and Temperature ranges

Bag filter housings are available in a range of materials, including stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316L, polypropylene (PP), PVDF, and other specialist materials for aggressive process media.

Standard stainless steel housings are suitable for operating pressures up to approximately 16 bar and temperatures up to 200°C, depending on the design and sealing materials used. Plastic housings are typically intended for lower pressure and temperature applications.

For demanding process conditions involving elevated pressures, temperatures, or aggressive chemicals, custom-engineered housing solutions are also available. Please contact our filtration specialists to discuss your specific requirements.

Connections, Closures, Venting, and Drains

Our bag filter housings are available with a wide range of connection options, including threaded and flanged connections in various sizes and configurations. For hygienic applications within the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, Tri-Clamp and dairy (milk) couplings are also available.

Depending on the housing design, units can be equipped with either quick-opening clamp closures or bolted closures to facilitate safe and efficient maintenance and filter bag replacement.

To support safe and effective operation, bag filter housings can also be fitted with vent and drain connections. These features simplify filling, venting, draining, cleaning, and maintenance procedures while helping to improve process safety and operational efficiency.

Compliance with laws and regulations

All bag filter housings are manufactured in accordance with applicable legislation, standards, and industry requirements, including the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) where applicable, as well as relevant hygiene and certification standards.

This ensures that your filtration system meets the required safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
